Quick start

Install Zippy Wall and apply sensible defaults in under 90 seconds.

1. Sign in

Open zippywall.app and click Sign in with Discord. You'll be redirected to Discord's OAuth screen — approve the standard identify email scopes. You'll land back on the Zippy Wall dashboard.

2. Invite the bot

From the dashboard click Add to your Discord. Discord opens its bot-authorization screen — pick the server you want to protect, confirm the permissions, and authorize. The bot will appear in your member list within a few seconds.

3. Click Quick start

Back on the dashboard, click into your newly-added server and press the Apply recommended defaults button. This single click sets up:

  • Gamer-scam + Profanity preset packs enabled
  • Threshold 65, action DELETE
  • Audit logging on for joins, leaves, deletes, bans
  • Link gate: block URLs from accounts under 30 days old
  • Auto-slowmode: 5s for 5 min when spam trips
  • Anti-raid: 5 joins in 30s → FREEZE for 15 min (Pro only)

4. Set a mod-log channel

Right-click a private mod channel in Discord → Copy Channel ID (you need Developer Mode enabled in Discord User Settings → Advanced). Paste that ID into the Mod-log channel ID field in the dashboard and save. The bot will post action logs and audit events there.

5. Test it

From your own account (or a test alt), post a known scam URL like https://dlscord.com/nitro-free in your server. The bot should delete it within ~1 second and post a structured embed to your mod-log channel.
