Zippy Wall

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Zippy Wall (the “Service”), operated by Joel Cripps in British Columbia, Canada (“we”, “us”). By signing in or installing the Zippy Wall bot on a Twitch channel or Discord server, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Zippy Wall does

Zippy Wall is a chat-moderation service. It scans messages posted in your connected Twitch chat or Discord server for URLs, classifies them against threat-intelligence feeds (URLhaus, OpenPhish, Google Safe Browsing) and our heuristics, and takes a moderation action (delete, censor, timeout, kick, or ban) per your channel’s configured rule. It also matches messages against banned-phrase lists you enable.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You must have the right to add the bot to any Twitch channel or Discord server you connect.
  • You must not use the Service in violation of Twitch’s, Discord’s, or any other platform’s terms of service.
  • You are responsible for the moderation rules you configure and any actions the bot takes on your behalf.
  • You must not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or interfere with the Service.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Customer Portal accessible in your dashboard. Refunds are not offered by default but we’ll consider them case by case — contact us within 30 days of a charge to ask.

4. Service availability

We work to keep Zippy Wall available 24/7 but make no uptime guarantees. The Service depends on Twitch, Discord, our hosting providers, and third-party threat-intel feeds, any of which may have outages outside our control. No SLA is offered on the standard plan.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that every scam URL or banned phrase will be caught; threat intel is imperfect and attackers rotate faster than any feed. You acknowledge that Zippy Wall is one layer of defence, not a guarantee of safety.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and removing the bot from your channel/server. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk for us or other users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We’ll post any changes to this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes that affect your rights or pricing will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via a dashboard banner or email.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
