DELETE removes the message. CENSOR redacts banned words inline (****) and re-posts the cleaned version as the original user via webhook. WARN logs only. TIMEOUT, KICK, BAN handle escalation.
Each preset can use the global action OR its own. Run Profanity on CENSOR (gentle) but Crypto-scam on BAN (zero tolerance) without touching everything else.
Repeated offenses from one user automatically escalate: DELETE → DELETE → TIMEOUT (60s) → TIMEOUT (5m) → BAN. Configurable. Catches sustained attacks without locking out one-off mistakes.

Block URLs posted by accounts younger than N days (default 30). Catches the most common phishing vector: throwaway accounts that join, drop a fake-Nitro link, and get banned.
When mention-spam or anti-raid trips, the affected channel auto-enables N-second slowmode for M minutes — a softer, mid-tier response that calms the room without freezing or banning.
Every action posts a structured embed to your mod-log: who, what, why, score, sources flagged. Plus audit-log integration for joins, leaves, deletes, bans — the full incident record without leaving Discord.

Common questions
Does Zippy Wall replace Discord's built-in AutoMod?
No — they coexist. Built-in AutoMod runs at Discord's gateway layer with very low latency. Zippy Wall runs as a bot with deeper context (URL reputation, scam patterns, raid detection, account-age checks). Most security-conscious servers keep both on.
What's in the "Profanity" preset?
About 1,700 English curated entries from a community-maintained profanity word list. Single words match as whole-words (so "ass" won't hit "assassin"). Multi-word phrases and globs preserve their semantics. Free tier can enable it as one of 2 preset slots.
Can I use regex?
We support glob patterns (*shit*, sh?t) which cover ~95% of regex use cases for content moderation without the security and performance footguns of full regex. Glob is Pro-only; free tier gets substring + whole-word.
What's "Censor mode"?
Instead of deleting the whole message (and losing context), CENSOR redacts just the banned word inline as **** and re-posts the cleaned version via webhook, impersonating the original sender's name + avatar. Keeps the conversation flowing while neutralizing the content.
Will automod ban my mods by mistake?
Configure the exempt-role list — anyone with one of those roles bypasses automod entirely. Set it once in the dashboard, never worry about your staff getting timed out for testing a feature.
